Case of the Month | November
November 2, 2011The patient is a 40-year-old woman, who has previously undergone breast augmentation with saline implants. The left-sided implant had ruptured and she had significant breast asymmetry, with the right-sided breast larger, lower and more laterally displaced. She underwent removal of breast implants and replacement with high profile 550 cc silicone-filled breast implants. Extensive reshaping of the right breast capsule was required to hold the right breast implant in a better position. She is seen 3 weeks postoperatively.
