The patient is a 40-year-old woman, who has previously undergone breast augmentation with saline implants. The left-sided implant had ruptured and she had significant breast asymmetry, with the right-sided breast larger, lower and more laterally displaced. She underwent removal of breast implants and replacement with high profile 550 cc silicone-filled breast implants. Extensive reshaping of the right breast capsule was required to hold the right breast implant in a better position. She is seen 3 weeks postoperatively.

This patient of Dr. Sam Jejurikar is a 25-year-old woman who wanted to undergo breast augmentation but did not want any visible scars on the breast. Dr. Jejurikar’s patient at Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute is a 49-year-old woman who developed droopiness of the breast and loss of breast fullness after multiple pregnancies. She breastfed her children and after she stopped, lost most of her breast fullness. She desired breast augmentation and breast lift (mastopexy) to correct these changes.
